Privacy
A plain description of current behaviour, not legal advice. Have it reviewed before launch, and revisit it whenever the data collected changes.
Visitors
We keep first-party analytics only, and deliberately little of it. We record:
- search terms and the filters applied;
- which results were shown, viewed and clicked;
- which marketplace an outbound click went to;
- a random session id that distinguishes one visit from another.
The session id is stored in a first-party cookie, expires within twelve hours, and is not linked to any identity. We do not store IP addresses or user-agent strings, we do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share visitor data.
This data is used in aggregate to understand demand — which people and capabilities are searched for, and which searches return nothing.
Cookies
One cookie, holding the random session id described above. There are no advertising or cross-site cookies. Should advertising be introduced, this page will be updated before it is enabled.
People listed in the index
Profiles are built from information published by third-party licensing marketplaces: name, any aliases those platforms use, professional category, publicly-stated representation, and the terms of each offer. We do not collect contact details, private information, or biometric data, and we do not copy or re-host photographs, audio or video.
If you are the person listed, their estate, or an authorised representative, you can ask us to correct or remove a profile through the corrections process. We act on verified requests without requiring a legal demand.
Retention
Analytics events are retained for up to two years and then deleted automatically. Listing history — how prices and terms changed over time — is retained as long as the listing is indexed, because it is the basis of the market analysis this service exists to provide.
Contact
Privacy questions and data requests go to the address on our contact page and are answered by a person.
