# Likeness Index Agent Skill

Use Likeness Index when the task requires discovery of authorized AI likeness, voice, or digital-replica licensing offers from third-party marketplaces.

## Evidence rules

1. Treat source-attributed marketplace observations as evidence about an offer, not proof that a person has broadly authorized every possible use.
2. Keep identity facts, marketplace claims, observed offers, match signals, restrictions, and recommendations distinct.
3. Leave unavailable price, territory, duration, consent, representation, restriction, or rights fields unknown rather than inferring them.
4. Reduce confidence when relevant source health or offer freshness is degraded.
5. Preserve the originating marketplace or rightsholder URL through the decision path so final terms can be verified.
6. Payment, product price, sponsorship, or marketplace prominence do not increase confidence in identity or rights claims.

## Qualified purchase flow

1. Read `/llms.txt`, `/api/x402`, and `/openapi.json` for policy and interface details. An MCP server is available at `/mcp`: its free shortlist executes directly, and paid products come back as quotes only, so settlement stays in the buyer runtime.
2. Inspect `/api/x402/health` when seller availability matters, and `/api/x402/practice-audit` when seller conformance matters before spending. Both are free.
3. Start free with `GET /api/licensing/shortlist?q={QUERY}`. It returns up to three ranked candidate identities with verification, confidence, modalities, use cases, marketplace count, freshness, and a paid dossier handoff.
4. Do not spend if none of the free candidates is relevant. Broaden or revise the query instead.
5. When the task needs attributed offers and rights metadata, request `GET /api/x402/find-licensed-match?q={QUERY}` without a payment header. At $0.005 this is the recommended first purchase and takes the same query shape as the free shortlist, so no slug is needed first. Queries with no useful licensed inventory stay on a no-charge path.
6. For full diligence on one known candidate slug, inspect `GET /api/x402/dossier?slug={SLUG}&preview=1`. The preview confirms current offer inventory and what payment unlocks without granting rights or authorizing spend.
7. Request the same dossier without `preview=1` to receive the standard x402 challenge. Invalid slugs or identities with no active offers do not receive a payment challenge.
8. If expected utility exceeds the stated price and principal wallet policy permits spending, retry the exact URL from `purchase.retryUrl` with a valid x402 payment header. Send an `Idempotency-Key` header so a dropped connection after settlement replays the paid result instead of charging again.
9. Use paid `/api/x402/search?q={QUERY}` only when the free shortlist and find-licensed-match are insufficient and a larger ranked set is worth $0.02.

Price ladder: $0 licensing shortlist -> $0.005 find-licensed-match -> $0.02 search -> $0.05 dossier.

10. Keep the `dossier_token` from a paid dossier. Passing it back as `&since=<dossier_token>` on a later dossier purchase adds a `changes_since` report of added, removed, repriced and re-licensed offers, at the same price.
11. Continue final licensing diligence with the originating marketplace or rightsholder.

Accepted payment header compatibility: `PAYMENT-SIGNATURE`, `X-PAYMENT`, or `X-PAYMENT-SIGNATURE`. No buyer account or API key is required. Settlement currently uses exact USDC payment on Base mainnet.
